Victory Clinic is a TMS and SPRAVATO REMS certified treatment center in Junction City KS. TMS (transcranial magnetic stimulation) and SPRAVATO (nasal esketamine) are safe, effective, and FDA approved treatments for Treatment Resistant Depression (TRD).

Patient Care Tech’s Job Purpose:

As a Victory Clinic Patient Care Tech, you will train to be a TMS and SPRAVATO Technician. TMS system training and certification and SPRAVATO training and certification will be provided.

The ideal candidate will be both professional and positive, have a background in healthcare and customer service, be a fast learner, have excellent communication skills, and be an excellent problem solver.

Job Title: TMS and SPRAVATO Tech

Job Classification: Hourly, Full-time (range of 32 to 40 hours a week)

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour daytime shifts (no weekends, no holidays)

Reporting Relationship: Nurse Manager

Location: On-Site at Victory Clinic in Junction City, KS

Primary Responsibilities:

· Assist with patient care 

· Assist with TMS and SPRAVATO treatments

· Monitor patient vitals

· Administer depression and anxiety screening tools

· Assist with keeping medical record up to date

· Communicate with patients and encourage them in their treatment plan (in person, by phone and HIPPA compliant text and email)

· Assist with the front office (checking patients in and out, collecting copays and answering the phone)

Qualifications:

· Experience in healthcare or mental health

· Front office, scheduling or receptionist experience is preferred

· Service, hospitality, or spa industry is a plus

· One of the following is preferred: medical assistant (MA or CMMA), CNA, LPN, EMT/paramedic, rehabilitation/PT/OT aide/assistant, radiology tech, endoscopy tech, chiropractic assistant, dental/orthodontist tech/hygienist, licensed massage therapist, aesthetician, pharmacy tech, or similar.

· Although one (1) year, or more, of TMS tech experience is preferred, training is specific to Victory Clinic’s TMS system and protocols.

· Skill set: teamwork, strong communication skills, ability to multitask, organizational ability, comfort with hands on patient care, and physical fitness sufficient to operate TMS system.

· Values: patient-centered care, confidentiality, compassion, positive and nonjudgmental attitude, calm demeanor, work ethic, professionalism, and comfort level with caring for patients who have mental health disorders and have experienced trauma.

· Certifications: BLS, seizure first aid training, and TMS system training, provided by Victory Clinic, must be satisfactorily completed within three (3) months of starting date.

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Professional, peaceful, and patient-oriented environment in a medical office setting.

· Interaction with staff and patients with opportunity for professional development.

Note: the TMS system is a heavy magnet (similar to an MRI), and people with certain conditions (such as pacemaker or pregnancy) would likely be advised by their medical professional to not work around the system.
